New Editorial Board Members Needed 

Military Medical Research is recruiting Editorial Board Members to join our Editorial Board. As the growth of the journal continues, we must also ensure that it is able to cope with increased submissions whilst maintaining our high editorial standards. Therefore, we are looking to expand our editorial team.

Military Medical Research scope and ethos

Military Medical Research is an open access, peer-reviewed journal published by BMC, Springer Nature. Founded in 2014, Military Medical Research has been indexed by internationally renowned databases including SCIE, MEDLINE, PubMed, Scopus, and DOAJ. The Impact Factor for 2022 is 21.1, ranking 10 out of 169 (upper Q1) in the subject of Medicine, General & Internal.

Military Medical Research aims to become a world-class platform for scholarly communication. The journal is committed to promoting the dissemination of the latest ideas and novel findings in the full range of topics in basic and clinical sciences, translational and precision medicine, emerging and interdisciplinary subjects, and superior technologies in military and civilian medicine.

Criteria 

8-year research or working experience in the related areas with PhD/MD.

Professor title is preferred.

h-index>30.

Role and responsibilities

  • Handling manuscripts and making timely decisions on papers in their professional fields
  • Providing feedback to authors and upholding the journal’s ethical standards
  • Contributing to the journal's vision, scope, and goals
  • Serving as a guest editor, responsible for organizing thematic series
  • Attracting new authors and submissions
  • Promoting the journal to colleagues and peers
